3096 Days is the autobiographical account of Natascha Kampusch, who was kidnapped on March 2, 1998, when she was ten years old, and held captive for 3096 days, more than eight and a half years, by Wolfgang Priklopil. In this book, Natascha describes the circumstances of her kidnapping, her daily life in captivity, her relationship with her captor, and how she managed to survive this terrible experience. A moving testimony of a young woman who never gave up.

Natascha Maria Kampusch is an Austrian author and former talk show host. At the age of 10, on 2 March 1998, she was abducted and held in a secret cellar by her kidnapper, Wolfgang Přiklopil, for more than eight years, until she escaped on 23 August 2006. Upon her escape, Přiklopil died by suicide by train at a nearby station. She has written a book about her ordeal, 3,096 Days (2010), which was later adapted into a film that was released in 2013.
