Biography

Joan Marshall Grant Kelsey was an English writer of historical novels and a reincarnationist.

Joan Grant was born in London in 1907 and built a prolific career as a novelist with 56 published works.

Her most renowned work, Winged Pharaoh, was published in 1937 and achieved significant popular success.

The author claimed to write her historical novels while under hypnosis, recalling details from her supposed past lives.

Denys Kelsey, her third husband and a psychiatrist, was so fascinated by her books that he sought her out, leading to their marriage.

In addition to her historical novels, she wrote children's books based on stories she claimed to have heard in previous lives.
