«Yo soy yo» is the children's book by Fina Casalderrey Fraga, published by Algar Editorial in paperback (24 pages, in Spanish).
The story focuses on the bond between a girl and her great-grandmother. The old woman can barely see, has lost almost all her memory and no longer recognises anyone; even so, she knows the girl is «yo soy yo». A tender tale about affection between generations and identity.
It is number 2 in the Letra Mágica collection, published in 2004; first edition with illustrations by Josep Vicó Crespo.
Recommended for early readers aged 4 and up; the text combines handwritten and capital letters.
Fina Casalderrey is a Spanish writer and educator, considered to be one of the most important writers of Galician children's literature.
