This book tells the story of San Juan de Dios, a man of deep religiosity and continuous search for God's will. From his beginnings as a shepherd to his work as a traveling salesman of religious books, Juan Ciudad experiences a radical change when he is admitted to a hospital. There he discovers his vocation and begins to build his dream: a hospital where the poor and sick are treated with dignity and respect. His love for his neighbor, generosity and faith in God make him a revered figure. The book includes the testament of San Juan de Dios and drawings by Onofrio Bramante.
