«Vuit històries curiosament actuals» is the children's storybook by David Paloma, published by Cruïlla in paperback (80 pages, in Catalan).
Eight stories with a classic fairy-tale setting: there are counts and countesses, knights and servants, peasants and maidens, birds, a giant serpent, and a fire-breathing beast. Yet time seems not to have passed entirely, and the situations feel curiously current, as if they were happening today.
Volume 107 of the El Vaixell de Vapor collection, with illustrations by Jordi Vila Delclòs. Published in 2002.
Aimed at child readers aged 7 to 10 who enjoy short tales and traditional characters.
