Greco, a sixteen-year-old boy with behavioural problems, enters Phoenix Academy, an English boarding school that straightens out rebellious youths. He meets Iris and discovers that students disappear and return disturbingly changed. Together they try to uncover the mystery of the school and its sinister headmistress before becoming the next victims.
The novel was published in 2012 in the Luna roja collection (no. 20) and won the La Galera Young Readers Award 2011.

Use Lahoz is a Spanish writer of fiction. He has lived in many countries for study or work, including Portugal, Germany, Italy, Uruguay, Cuba and France, where he works as a teacher at the Paris Institute of Political Studies. He is a regular contributor to Radio Nacional de España and El País, as well as other national and Latin American media. His journalistic work has been awarded with the Pica d’Estats Prize in 2011.
