In 'Magical Lives and Inquisition II,' Julio Caro Baroja delves into the study of magic, witchcraft, and astrology during the 16th and 17th centuries. Through a compassionate lens, the author introduces us to men and women who, in a frustrated society based on magical assumptions, represented both despair and hope. This second part is divided into three sections: Magic and Society, Magic and Thought, and Magic and Astrology. The book explores the beliefs and practices of the time, offering a detailed view of how magic and the inquisition intertwined in daily life.
