«Vaiche boa!» is a book of children's and young adult short stories by Paul Jennings, published by Editorial Galaxia in paperback (180 pages, in Galician).
Brief stories that start from everyday objects and situations and veer into the extraordinary: a lipstick, a pair of underpants or some glue are enough to unleash plagues, powers and other absurdities. Childhood fears, youthful questions and first failures are tackled with humour and a brisk pace.
Volume 128 of the Árbore collection for ages 12 and up. Second edition (2004), translated from English by Mª Dolores Martínez Torres, with 43 illustrations by Kiko da Silva.
Aimed at readers aged 12 and up who prefer humour and absurd situations.
