«Una primavera per a Domenico Guarini» is Carme Riera's first novel, published by Edicions 62 in paperback (208 pages, in Catalan).
Isabel Clara Alabern, a young journalist from Majorca, covers for a Barcelona newspaper the case of Domenico Guarini, who attacks Botticelli's «La Primavera». The work mixes genres, breaks chronology, alternates voices and integrates articles, letters and an academic dissertation, with a defence of feminism and freedoms.
It won the Premi Prudenci Bertrana in 1980. This 2008 edition was revised by the author and includes a new prologue. It belongs to the El Balancí collection.
For readers of contemporary literary fiction and experimental narrative.
