«Un soir de décembre» is the novel by Delphine de Vigan, published by Éditions France Loisirs in paperback (194 pages, in French).
A forty-five-year-old woman, with two children and a comfortable life, suddenly feels the need to write. Her first novel becomes a success and she receives letters from admirers; among them, those from Sara, with an old passion she thought forgotten, will change everything. Writing runs through memory, violent, instinctive and deceptive.
