«Un príncep massa encantat» is a children's storybook by Miquel Pujadó, published by La Magrana in hardback (72 pages, in Catalan).
The volume brings together tales featuring misfit characters from popular imagination: a dragon who wants to be a dramatic actor, a distracted prince, a princess who unenchants frogs, or a witch who is too pretty. With irony, the stories present fairy tales as a merciless jungle and invite readers to see them in a new light.
The cover bears the subtitle «i altres personatges amb problemes». The work was awarded the Premi Lola Anglada for short stories for boys and girls 2003.
Recommended for child and young adult readers, especially those already familiar with classic tales who want to see them treated with irony.
