«Un fantasma blanco» is the children's story by Fina Casalderrey, published by Editorial Everest in paperback (96 pages, in Spanish).
Bocabranca and Pinguiñas are two owls that live in the water tower of Peñagrande and watch over the night with their ghostly presence, scaring the neighbours with their voice. Unjustly accused of an act that brings misfortune and death to the village, the truth eventually prevails over the false accusations.
Part of the Montaña encantada / Pájaros de cuento collection, with illustrations by Xosé Cobás.
Recommended for readers aged 8 to 10, especially those who enjoy stories about animals, ghosts and mystery.
Fina Casalderrey is a Spanish writer and educator, considered to be one of the most important writers of Galician children's literature.
