Un amor

Synopsis of Un amor

«Un amor» is the contemporary novel by Alejandro Palomas, published by Columna CAT in hardback (464 pages, in Catalan).

Amàlia, advanced in years and with a peculiar sensitivity, only aspires to her children Sílvia, Emma and Fer being happy. When Emma's wedding coincides with her birthday, the family prepares to celebrate both events, but the night before a phone call changes everything. Between drama, tenderness and humour, the plot shows how an exceptional mother holds the fragile family balance and keeps surprising when everything seems to be faltering.

Winner of the Premi Nadal 2018, it is the third instalment of the series dedicated to Amàlia and is part of the Clàssica collection.

For readers of contemporary fiction who enjoy emotional family stories and recognisable characters.
