«Trompa Llarga» is the children's story by Núria Cussó Grau, published by Edicions del Pirata in paperback (24 pages, in Catalan).
Trompa Llarga is an elephant with a trunk much longer than the others'; carrying food for the herd makes it grow even longer. Although they laugh at him at first, the story teaches that being different makes each one special.
Ninth title in the Plou i Fa Sol collection, with the text in print and cursive letters and illustrations by Laia Guerrero.
A story designed for children aged 5 and up who are starting to read in Catalan.
