Tráeme pilas cuando vengas

Synopsis of Tráeme pilas cuando vengas

«Tráeme pilas cuando vengas» is a collection of fifteen short stories by Pepe Monteserín, published by Ediciones Trea in paperback (168 pages, in Spanish).

Fifteen stories that present love in acerbic, magical and zany registers, with prose that plays with imagination and language until it transfigures reality into absurd situations. The tone blends overflowing humour, mockery and wonder, with echoes of the grotesque tradition of Valle-Inclán and the fantastic imaginary of Cunqueiro.

This book is number 7 in the Narrativa collection from Ediciones Trea; it includes a prologue by Antonio Gamoneda and its first edition was published in 2007.

For readers of contemporary Spanish fiction, especially those who enjoy the short story and literary fiction.
