The work brings together fifty pieces in which Kees Van Kooten plays with language and portrays with irony the gestures, routines and quirks of Dutch society. The back-cover text, a visual poem about looking and strangeness, anticipates that playful and satirical tone.
The edition was published in 2003 and the text is in Dutch.
For readers interested in verbal humour and satire of Dutch customs.
