Ross Poldark, Member of Parliament for Truro, divides his time between London and Cornwall while his marriage to Demelza remains in delicate balance. His old rivalry with George Warleggan resurfaces, and the forbidden love between Morwenna and Drake, Demelza's brother, continues to shape their lives. As the new century approaches, both couples will be united by a common loss that transforms their destinies.
Seventh instalment of the Poldark saga, set in Cornwall at the end of the eighteenth century.
