«Stories» is the anthology of short fiction edited by Neil Gaiman and Al Sarrantonio, published by Headline Review in paperback (512 pages, in English).
An anthology of original stories that defies genre: for Gaiman and Sarrantonio, only the boundary between realistic and imaginative fiction exists. It includes tales by Jodi Picoult, Lawrence Block, Roddy Doyle, Joe Hill, Chuck Palahniuk and Joyce Carol Oates, alongside new voices to discover.
The work was published on 14 April 2011 and won the Shirley Jackson Award in the edited anthology category.
For readers of short fiction and speculative fiction seeking a varied sample of established authors and emerging voices.
