«Storia della filosofia greca. I presocratici» is the essay by Luciano De Crescenzo, published by Oscar Mondadori in paperback (240 pages, in Italian).
De Crescenzo reviews the thought of the pre-Socratic philosophers, from Thales to Anaxagoras, with irony and approachability: he mixes anecdotes, human portraits and accessible explanations of their ideas, without losing sight of the historical and cultural context in which they emerged.
First volume of De Crescenzo's «Storia della filosofia» series; this 1993 edition was published in the Best Sellers collection. The work originally appeared in 1983.
For readers interested in ancient philosophy and for those seeking an accessible approach with Luciano De Crescenzo's humour.
Luciano De Crescenzo was an Italian writer, film actor, director and engineer.
