«Soeurs» is the suspense novel by Bernard Minier, published by France Loisirs (464 pages, in French).
In 1993 two sisters are found murdered near the Garonne, tied to trees and dressed in communion dresses. The young policeman Martin Servaz suspects Erik Lang, a crime novelist whose fiction seems to inspire the double murder. In 2018, Lang's wife dies in the same way; Servaz reviews the case and suspects that an innocent man was convicted.
Soeurs was originally published in 2018. The story is set in Toulouse and on the banks of the Garonne.
