Sentimental is a novel by the Catalan writer Sergi Pàmies, published in 1996. The work, translated into Spanish by Marcelo Cohen, tells the story of a man who, after going out to buy tobacco, finds himself involved in a series of unexpected and catastrophic events that completely transform his life. With a fast-paced rhythm and fantastic elements that contrast with a realistic prose, the novel traps the reader in the adventures of the protagonist.
