«Señores del Olimpo» is the adventure and fantasy novel by Javier Negrete, published by Minotauro in hardback (368 pages, in Spanish).
The climate changes and the impiety of mortals, protected by Zeus, is cited as the cause. Giants threaten from the north; humans harass satyrs, centaurs and other ancient races. Typhon, who claims to be a son of Cronus, aspires to seize Olympus. Negrete weaves Greek myths into a story of passions and divine intrigues.
«Señores del Olimpo» won the Minotauro Prize 2006 and the Prix européen Utopiales des pays de la Loire 2008, and was published by Minotauro on 7 March 2006.
The novel is recommended for readers aged 14 and up, especially for fans of Greek mythology and adventure fantasy.
