«Rufo y el abrigo rojo» is the children's picture book by David Melling, published by Editorial Luis Vives (Edelvives) in hardback (29 pages, in Spanish).
Rufo flatly rejects his new red coat, until a trip outside with his friend Rubí makes him see things differently. The shared walk turns the garment he hated into an ally, in an illustrated story about friendship and being open to changing one's mind.
This is the first edition, published in 2021. The book belongs to the Álbumes ilustrados collection, within the series starring Rufo. The translation from English is by Raúl Sastre Letona.
The book is aimed at children aged 2 to 6, with themes of emotions, friendship and animals.
