«Roméo, moustique sympathique» is the children's novel by Luc Blanvillain, published by Poulpe Fictions in paperback (183 pages, in French).
Roméo is an atypical mosquito: he doesn't bite, speaks the language of humans and has become friends with Camille, Clélia's grandmother, with whom he watches romantic series on TV. The novel, told from his point of view, reveals with humour and impertinence the secrets of mosquito life among cats, mosquito nets and very peculiar humans.
Published on 7 September 2017 and illustrated by Marie Novion, it is part of the series «Nos amies les sales bêtes».
Aimed at readers aged 9 to 12, with a humorous tone and a first-person narrative.
