The novel follows Charles Ryder, who as an adult returns to Brideshead, the elegant Marchmain mansion turned into barracks, and from there recalls his years in interwar England: his friendship with the restless Sebastian Flyte, his fascination with the aristocratic world, and the conflict between faith and personal desires.
Translation by Caroline Phipps of the English original Brideshead Revisited, a work published in 1945. This Spanish edition, from 1995, belongs to the Narrativa Actual collection (no. 30).
For readers of literary fiction and twentieth-century British classics, with an interest in memory, faith, and aristocratic life.
