«Renata y el mago Pintón» is a children's fantasy book by Enrique Páez, published by Ediciones SM in paperback (80 pages, in Spanish).
The magician Pintón gives Renata, niece of the witch Gertrudis, a box of watercolours that multiply by a thousand everything she draws. Renata uses this gift to help others: she paints carrots against hunger, butterflies to brighten the city and shoes for the animals, although not all the magic turns out as she expects.
It belongs to the El Barco de Vapor Azul collection (no. 68), is illustrated by Alekos (Alexis Forero Valderrama) and is recommended for readers aged 7 to 9.
