«Rebeca» is the psychological suspense novel by Daphne Du Maurier, published by Círculo de Lectores in hardback (441 pages, in Spanish).
A young woman marries the wealthy Maxim de Winter and moves into his mansion, Manderley, where the memory of Rebecca, Maxim's first wife, remains very much alive. As the protagonist uncovers secrets of the past, the atmosphere of the house becomes more oppressive, and intrigue, jealousy and psychological suspense take over the story.
Translation by Fernando Calleja of the original 'Rebecca'; 1971 edition.
