«¡Rayos y centellas!» is a children's storybook by Yak Rivais, illustrated by Pablo Prestifilippo, published by Ediciones Gaviota in paperback.
Six zany stories take place on Rue Marcel-Aymé in Paris, where the pequefantásticos, very peculiar children, turn everyday life into absurd situations: Clara strolls through her dreams, Valérien throws books from a window, and Erwan talks to trees to make them move. The author plays with the absurd to make readers laugh.
Second edition, published in 2001, in the Gaviota junior collection. Translated from French by Elena del Amo de la Iglesia. 120 pages.
Recommended for young readers aged 8 to 10 who enjoy fantasy and absurd humour.
