«Ralph's Party» is Lisa Jewell's romantic novel, published by Michael Joseph in hardback (400 pages, in English).
At number 31 Almanac Road, Ralph and Smith are flatmates and best friends until Jemima moves in and they both fall for her. Upstairs, Karl and Siobhan live happily unmarried, but Cheri, the new neighbour, has her eye on Karl. It all erupts at Ralph's party: a night of tears, laughter, break-ups and reconciliations.
The first instalment of the «Ralph's Party» series was originally published in 1999 and is set in late-1990s London.
Will appeal to readers of contemporary romantic comedy and women's fiction, in the vein of Marian Keyes, Jane Fallon and Sophie Kinsella.
