«Prometo Failhar» is a book about love by Pedro Chagas Freitas, published by Marcador in 2014 (392 pages, in Portuguese).
The book discusses love in its different forms: between lovers, between friends, a mother's love for her child, and a child's love for their parents. It describes love as a feeling that shakes, moves, hurts and liberates, and argues that love happens when one stops seeking perfection.
The cover carries the subtitle «O amor acontece quando desistimos de ser perfeitos».
For readers who want a work in Portuguese about love in a couple, friendship and family.
