«Primavera sombría» is Unica Zürn's autobiographical novella, published by Siruela in hardback (88 pages, in Spanish).
A strongly autobiographical narrative in which Unica Zürn approaches childhood and adolescence as a time of confrontation with a hostile outside world and with the abysses of one's own consciousness. Schizophrenia is part of that inner struggle, but it does not reduce the story to a clinical testimony.
It includes a prologue by Menchu Gutiérrez, a translation by Ana María de la Fuente, and the original title Dunkler Frühling. Number 200 in the Libros del Tiempo collection.
For readers of autobiographical fiction and those interested in the figure of Unica Zürn and her link with surrealism.
