«¿Por qué escribe usted?» brings together more than two hundred responses from writers around the world, taken from the Libération newspaper survey and other publications. It contrasts the motivations of African, European and Latin American authors, and reveals their creative process, their beginnings, their failures and their unpublished works.
It is the third volume in the «El oficio de escritor» collection from Ediciones y talleres de escritura creativa Fuentetaja.
It is aimed at readers interested in literary creation and in the direct testimony of writers from different traditions and continents.
