«Perro verde 1: Humor de perros» is the humorous children's novel by Alberto Díaz and Álvaro Núñez, published by Anaya in paperback (144 pages, in Spanish).
Lolo, a popular boy in his class, wakes up with green hair and discovers that his dog Colás is also dyed. From then on, the two start to resemble each other so much that Lolo ends up barking in class. His reputation is at stake, so he tries to find out what's going on before he's singled out as the weird one, though maybe that change isn't so bad after all.
First title in the «Perro verde» collection of Children's Literature, published by Anaya in 2022. Recommended age: from 10 years.
For intermediate and advanced readers, with humour and pets as central themes.
