«Percival e outras historias» is a collection of stories by Xosé Luis Méndez Ferrín, published by Editorial Galaxia in paperback (112 pages, in Galician).
The work brings together stories that mix popular tradition with the avant-garde, Arthurian and Greek myths with a raw, violent reality. The author creates a climate of mystery in which symbols, allegories and fantasy merge, leaving the reader unsure whether they inhabit insects that devour each other or extremely cruel human beings.
First narrative work by Xosé Luis Méndez Ferrín, originally published in 1958; this edition by Editorial Galaxia is from 1985.
Aimed at readers of Galician fiction, particularly those who enjoy stories of myth and mystery.
