«Où sont mes lunettes ?» is the humorous novel by Nicole de Buron, published by Flammarion-Le Grand Livre du Mois in hardback (229 pages, in French).
A woman receives a letter from her pension fund announcing that she is 59 years old. Incredulous, she opens a trunk of memories and reviews her life: childhood, first job, loves, two marriages, a divorce, and a final infatuation with «el Gran Sinvergüenza». With humour and sensitivity, she traces an ordinary and unique life, with sorrows and joys.
The novel was originally published in 1991; this 229-page hardback edition corresponds to Le Grand Livre du Mois.
For readers who appreciate humour and a woman's life reconstruction through her memories.
