«Arrête ton cinéma!» is Nicole de Buron's memoir about French cinema and television, published by Flammarion in paperback (329 pp., in French).
The author, who balanced her family life with making films and television programmes, reveals the inner workings of French show business: penniless producers, pedantic directors, jealous actors and capricious stars. She recalls shoots such as 'Les Saintes Chéries', 'Erotissimo' and 'Vas-y maman', and the anger that drove her away from French cinema.
Includes bibliographical references (p. 327-330) and the Library of Congress classifies it as PN1998.3.B87 A3 1995. Published in 1995.
