«Ollie's Ski Trip» is the children's picture book by Elsa Beskow, published by Floris Books in hardback (30 pages, in English).
Six-year-old Ollie receives his first real skis and, when it snows, ventures into the forest. There he meets the radiant Jack Frost, who drives away Mrs. Thaw, and together they travel to the palace of King Winter, where they take part in a great snowball fight. But Mrs. Thaw threatens to return and spoil the fun.
Work first published in 1907 as «Olles skidfärd» in Swedish; the present edition dates from December 1982.
Recommended for children aged 4 to 8, for first readings and for those seeking winter tales and snowy adventures.
