«O estadio do espello» is a poetry collection by María do Cebreiro Rábade Villar, published by Xerais in paperback (104 pages, in Galician).
O estadio do espello starts from the image of the name as a cycle of bread and the invasion of the northern barbarians to build a lyrical reflection on identity, language and subjectivity. The treacherous eyes and the poem itself function as multiples of that subjectivity of María do Cebreiro.
The book, published in 1999, belongs to the Edición Literaria - Ablativo Absoluto collection by Xerais. The work is framed within 20th-century Galician poetry.
A work for readers of European poetry and Galician literature.
