«Nunca olvides que te quiero» is the contemporary fiction novel by Delphine Bertholon, published by Debolsillo in paperback (336 pages in Spanish).
Madi, aged eleven, is kidnapped on her way home from school and held by a lonely man. The story alternates between Madi's diary, her mother's letters, and the account of the young teacher Madi is in love with. The three voices turn the drama into a tragicomic narrative about imagination, inner freedom, and the transition to adolescence.
It belongs to the Best Seller collection. The original French title is Twist (2008); the translation is by Carme Geronès Planagumà. The work won the Ciné Roman Carte Noire Prize in 2009.
