In 'Nos robaron la juventud' (They Stole Our Youth), Víctor Amela narrates the moving stories of the young men of the Quinta del Biberón (Baby Bottle Brigade) who fought in the Spanish Civil War. Through the testimonies of survivors, the author reconstructs the memory of those boys who, barely teenagers, found themselves immersed in the bloody Battle of the Ebro. This book is a heartfelt tribute to the anonymous heroes who fought in espadrilles and without cartridge belts, and who retained for life the terrible memory of a war that stole their youth.
