In 'No te olvides de mí' (Don't Forget Me), Carlos Fonseca narrates the tragic story of Yolanda González Martín, a young student from Bilbao who became a symbol of the struggle for freedoms during the Spanish Transition. Through testimonies from family members, colleagues, and lawyers, the author reconstructs the events surrounding her brutal assassination in 1980, bringing to light a story of impunity that still resonates today. This book rescues the memory of a generation of idealistic young people who fought to change the world in a turbulent period of Spanish history.
