«Mujeres» is Mihail Sebastian's first novel, published by Impedimenta in paperback (240 pages, in Spanish).
The young doctor Stefan Valeriu reviews, as in a sentimental chronicle, his love affairs in four stages of his life: conquests, separations, reunions and farewells. The women he meets, of very different temperaments, leave him with the certainty that love is fickle, disorderly and bittersweet.
The novel was originally published in 1933; this Spanish edition features a translation by Marian Ochoa de Eribe. Volume 12 of the Impedimenta collection.
For readers of classic fiction and European narrative who appreciate female portraits and stories of feelings.
Mihail Sebastian was a Romanian playwright, essayist, journalist and novelist.
