«El Monstruoso Profesor» is the mystery and suspense novel by Christopher Pike, published in October 1998 by Ediciones B in hardback, in Spanish.
The figure of a teacher becomes the centre of a growing mystery: something about him does not fit, and the school environment begins to feel threatening. The novel combines suspense with young-adult horror, and clues pile up until the nature of the monstrous is revealed. A story that maintains the intrigue while still being aimed at young readers.
It is the 13th instalment in the Fantasville series.
Aimed at children and young adults, especially those who enjoy mystery and young-adult horror stories.
