Miren eta erromantizismoa is a youth novel by the author Ramón Saizarbitoria. The story tells of the arrival of a Moroccan boy to class, Said, who captures the attention of all the girls, especially Klara, who idealizes romantic love. Miren, however, values Said's intelligence and kindness, moving away from Klara's conventionalisms. The novel explores themes such as friendship, tolerance and freedom, inviting reflection on love and life, and the role of sensitivity and art in education.
Ramon Saizarbitoria is a contemporary Basque writer and sociologist.
