«Egunero hasten delako» is the novel by Ramón Saizarbitoria, published by Hordago in 1983 in paperback (229 pages, in Basque).
The novel follows a group of young people who face life with enthusiasm, hope and joy. Alongside them, the story of Gisèle Sergier, marked by an abortion, glimpses a reality of miserable and hypocritical moments. The narrator, an observer and murmurer, tinges the tale with irony and melancholy in a tone that renews each day the possibility of beginning again.
It is part of the Ustela collection (Ustela saila) from Hordago.
For readers of Basque-language narrative and contemporary fiction interested in a novel with an ironic voice and a melancholic gaze on youth.
Ramon Saizarbitoria is a contemporary Basque writer and sociologist.
