«Minotauro» is the horror novel by John Farris, published by Vidorama in hardback in 1985, in Spanish.
In the novel, the minotaur slowly descends a staircase: a creature almost two metres tall, with curved horns and a copper-coloured body. Joe tries to stop it with his revolver, but the beast, armed with an axe, responds by cutting his wrist. The violence of this scene opens a tale of horror and suspense that maintains the tension.
John Lee Farris is an American novelist, screenwriter, and playwright. He first achieved best-seller status at age twenty-three and is most famous as the author of The Fury. He is also known largely for his work in the southern Gothic genre.
