«Mini entre à la grande école» is the children's book by Christine Nöstlinger, published by Hachette in paperback (70 pages, in French).
Mini doesn't know whether to be happy about starting primary school: you have to sit still, not talk, and listen to the teacher. She worries that she might be as mean as her brother Félix's teacher. On the first day back to school, her knees tremble and her stomach growls, and she'll have to pluck up courage.
Part of the Bibliothèque Mini-Rose collection; illustrated edition with drawings by Claire Le Grand, aimed at readers aged 6 to 9.
Recommended for early readers aged 6 to 9, especially those about to start school.

Christine Nöstlinger was an Austrian writer best known for children's books. She received one of two inaugural Astrid Lindgren Memorial Awards from the Swedish Arts Council in 2003, the biggest prize in children's literature, for her career contribution to "children's and young adult literature in the broadest sense." She received the Hans Christian Andersen Medal for "lasting contribution to children's literature" in 1984 and was one of three people through 2012 to win both of these major international awards.
