«Maleida Covid: Versos en temps de virus» is a poetry collection by Celdoni Fonoll Casanoves published by Curbet Edicions in paperback (98 pages).
The poems, written in Catalan during the COVID-19 crisis, start from the everyday experience of the virus to build a lyrical reflection on those months. The title, a play on the phrase «maleïda covid», condenses the collection's light-hearted and critical tone.
Published on 12 June 2020. The volume includes a prologue by Isidor Mari and an epilogue by Llull Bertran.
A read for those who follow contemporary Catalan poetry and literary chronicles of the pandemic.
