«Los Terranautas» is the science fiction novel by T.C. Boyle, published by Impedimenta in paperback (568 pages, in Spanish).
In 1994, eight scientists seal themselves inside Ecosphere 2, a glass dome in Arizona, within a global reality show that presents it as a prototype for an extraterrestrial colony. The dome, created by Jeremiah Reed, raises doubts between science and publicity. Watched by the Mission of Control, they face catastrophes that threaten their lives.
Volume 215 of the Impedimenta collection; translation by Ce Santiago; original title: The Terranauts.
For readers of contemporary fiction and science fiction interested in dystopias, confinement, and social criticism with irony.
