«L'ós tafaner i els colors» is the children's picture book by Jane Foster, published by Cruïlla in hardback (14 pages, in Catalan).
The curious bear wants to see everything to know what color things are. To help him, the reader must find the color in English in each scene, in a visual journey with geometric patterns and a graphic language very close to textile design.
It was published on 13 October 2016. The translation is by Núria Font i Ferré and Jane Foster also does the illustrations.
For young readers aged 3 and up who are starting to identify colors and learn their names in English.
Jane Foster Zlatovski (1912–1979) allegedly engaged, with her husband, George Zlatovski, in covert activities on behalf of the Soviet Union while employed in sensitive U.S. Government wartime agencies during World War II. They were indicted in 1957. Their case was never tried and both Zlatovskis denied the accusations.
